The City of Portland is again hosting technical ecoroof workshops This is worthwhile for anyone interested in the basic details of ecoroof fundamentals, design, construction, and permitting.

The Hawthorne Condominiums ecoroof stemmed from neighborhood requests for incorporating green elements in the development, as well as the owner’s desire to provide a visual “front yard” to the residents and to reduce summer heat and glare. This is one of our first projects, back when we were a non-profit.
